Visit with Santa

Mommy took me to PetSmart to have my picture made with Santa. It was very sad having my picture made all by myself. I missed my brother. I did and was not going to have my picture made by my self! Even though I did not tell anyone this, Mommy quickly caught on and decided to get in the picture with me. I still was not happy, I wanted my brother with me. We have been going to PetSmart for the past 3 years to have our picture made with Santa it was not fair. Well, Mommy got an ok picture of us with Santa. So, here is the picture- hope you enjoy!

The Tree is up!

We finally got our Christmas Tree up!! There are not any lights or decorations on the tree, but it is standing tall. Mommy and Uncle B went to pick out the tree last night, and Mommy got a beautiful Frazier Fur. It smells so good! I have always loved going and sitting in front of the Christmas Tree and gazing at the beautiful lights and ornaments. I cannot wait til it's decorated so that I spend all my time in there!

Tomorrow, Mommy said that I am going to have my picture made with Santa. PetSmart is having Santa pictures this weekend and next, the majority of the money goes to help pets in need. Last time I went to see Santa, I got a BIG chew bone for Christmas maybe it will happen this year too. Mommy took me to Princess Spa today so that I would be all pretty for Santa pictures. I will post Santa pictures soon!

RIP Jones

My brother died peacefully at home this morning. Mommy, Momma Too, and Gran-Gran were all in there with him.

Here's a poem that Mommy wanted me to share with everyone. Uncle B gave this to her when BoBo died several years ago.

RAINBOW BRIDGE

"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. Forever our Lump of Love!

Prayers for my Brother!

My brother, Jones C, is very sick. Mommy, Momma Too, and Gran-Gran had to take him to the doggy ER late last night. He was not acting like himself and having a hard time breathing. It turns out that his immune system is eating away at his red blood cells, which causes him to have shortness of breath and no energy. This disease is called Immune Medicated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). It's a big long word that does not make any sense to me, all I know is that I miss my brother very much! It is very lonely around here without him.

My new room!

Mommy and Momma Too have spent this week re-decorating Mommy's room. They worked really hard. Mommy got new bedding and so did I! That's right I have my very own bed now! It even matches Mommy's colors. I'm still adjusting to my bed, it might take a while.

So Mommy went out of town last week, and look what my Momma Too did to me while she was gone. When Mommy saw these she was not that happy about it!

All I can say is that they made me, I believe the word T-R-E-A-T was used.

Even though she is in Auburn, she is still cute! Momma Too thinks that she should be Auburn because the orange blends better with her coat- I don't think so!!!

In my yard.....

I was headed outside yesterday to take care of my business when I saw a black cat in my backyard. I flipped! I started barking and chasing after it. I was so close to catching it. Mommy was quite glad that I did not get it, she is still a little upset about the squirrel incident that happened several weeks ago.

We have something very exciting happening this next week at our house, my brother Jones is turning 5! Can you believe it! I'm only two, but I cannot believe that he wil be 5 next week! Mommy has ordered him a cake from Custom Creations in Argo. Mrs. Jonica just opened up her bakery and is going to start having Homemade Doggie Treats! It's about time that someone caters towards the dogs! I will update you next week on how the celebration goes!

Happy Birthday to Mommy!

My Mommy had a birthday this past week. She turned 23 on Thursday! She's been talking about how old she is getting but I've been telling her that she isn't that old! Well in dog years she is but in human years she isn't!

She went out to eat with Karl, the family, some close friends! She wouldn't let Jones or me go, she told me that I would not have liked the BIG FIRE at Stix's!

Mrs. Audrey from Cakes by Audrey in Springville made Mommy a yummy looking cake, Mommy wouldn't let me have any because it was part chocolate!

GOTCHA!!!

So today I finally caught one.... a squirrel that is. I caught him and killed him. To me it was quite funny. Mommy and Gran-Gran were yelling at me to let go of the squirrel. I did not let go of him until I realized that he tasted like MEAT.... YUCK, YUCK and MORE YUCK!!!!!! Gran-Gran and Mommy had to remove the squirel from the yard with a shovel. Mommy was very grossed out by the fact and still is. She cannot believe that I killed a poor helpless creature. All I got to say is that he should not have been in my yard!!!!

Easter

Tonight Mommy, Jones, and I dyed Easter Eggs. Mommy said that we could not dye that many but we had to dye a few! We had so much fun! Jones and I wanted to eat the eggs, they smelled so good!

BOW-WOW!

It has been a long time since I have been able to post anything! Mommy and I have quite busy this semester. Mommy is a Pampered Chef consultant and has been busy working on that blog and not mine, you can see Mommy's blog at www.chefcarlie.blogspot.com!

Well, let me think what all has been happening since I last posted anything. I have a new day-time play friend, his name is Patton. His mommy is one of our roommates. He looks just like me but is still smaller. We love playing outside together. We hunt for squirrels during the day while our mommy's are at school and work.

I still go back to Birmingham everyweek to visit My Momma Too, Gran-Gran and my Brother Jones. I love my Brother Jones very much. Easter is this weekend maybe the Easter Bunny will come see Jones and me. Hopefully he will bring us a cookie, and some chew bones!

I will try to get Mommy to get on and post pictures about Easter!

Paradise

My mommy is throwing my Aunt Amanda and Jim a couples wedding shower tonight at our house. We are going to be in Paradise for tonight. How fun! Mommy was decorating the house last night and thought that I would be cute in a grass skirt, all I wanted to do was eat it! Here are a few pictures of me in my skirt.
