Merry Christmas!

Today is Christmas!! I must have been a super good girl this year because I got lots! I got a new collar, leash, ID tag, toy, chew sticks, and a ball. After we opened presents Uncle B, Aunt E, and Buster came over. I got some really yummy pumpkin treats from them (too bad I have to share them with BoJo). Shortly after all the presents had been un-wrapped, it started to snow. I LOVE the snow! We all went out to play. It's so wonderful to spend Christmas with the ones who love you the most, and I know that I have lots of people that love me. Here are a few pictures from the day

Merry Christmas!

Mommy took me and BoJo over to our vet's office to have our pictures made with Santa. Mommy normally takes me to PetSmart for Santa pictures, but this year she had the time to go over to Dr. Randy's. Dr. Randy is mine and BoJo's doctor. He is wonderful! We all love him very much. Well, I believe that Dr. Randy really is Santa! He looks just like him. Dr. Randy grows his white hair and beard out and dresses up for Santa for a small fee. The money that he collects goes to Camp-Smile-A-Mile (Mommy says that is a place for children who are sick). Below is a picture of me, BoJo, and Santa (AKA- Dr. Randy). I told Santa that I had been very good this year. It's been a rough year without my brother Jones, but I have embraced BoJo to an extent. I tolerate him. I hope that Santa is very good to me!!!! I deserve lots and lots of treats! Our tree is up! I haven't had the chance to enjoy it much this year, because my little brother isn't allowed in there, so we keep the doors closed. Sad :( I know!

Introducing............

BoJo

About a month ago, Mommy, Momma Too, and Gran left for the day and came home with BoJo. At first I thought he was just visiting (sometimes wish he really was), but I soon realized that he was here to stay. I have a brother. Now, I'm the BIG SISTER! I like that feeling. BoJo and I love to play, but I think I scare everyone, because he makes me so mad that I pick him up by the legs and flip him over. I do this to teach him lesson, maybe one day he will get it!

The only thing I don't like is that we have to keep the living room doors closed. That is my favorite room, especially this time of year- CHRISTMAS TREE IS UP! I love the tree! Always have and always will! Mommy and I sneak in the living room every now and then for some snuggle time and gaze at the tree. Just Mommy and me, ahhhh I love it!

Well, Christmas will be here soon, hopefully Santa will be good to me. I'll try to keep the blog updated with lots of facts about BoJo. I guess Mommy will ask me to share the blog with him, at least for now. She is too busy to update mine every week, how can she add another to it?

Howl-o-ween!

Halloween is almost here! Mommy has never bought me a costume before, but this year she decided to. I am a pumpkin! Momma Too said it would look the best with the color of my skin (aka coat).

I'm going this Saturday night to the PetSmart Howl-o-ween party. Hope I meet lots of friends. For the first 100 people they are giving out bags of treats. There is a pet parade and a costume contest. I'm super excited about it! Hope I get a bag of treats, I'll make sure Mommy takes me super super early! Uncle B is home!!!!!!

I just found out through Mommy that Uncle B came home from the hospital! Uncle B hurt his back almost 3 weeks ago while he was at the lake. Aunt E had to take him to the ER because she couldn't get him up. He has been battling pain for a while, and finally Aunt E got him a doctor's appointment. The doctors went in to clean out a horrible infection and ended up having to do a disk decompression surgery on him last Friday. Even though he is home, he will be on some heavy medicine for the next 6-8 weeks through a port. Mommy said he will have to his medicine through a tube that is coming out of his arm... YUCK! I was able to go and visit Uncle B before he went into the hospital. He was not feeling well at all!!! I knew that he was sick and knew that couldn't act up and jump all over him like a normally do! I hope that Uncle B gets to feeling much better soon!!!!! I really miss him and cannot wait to love on him!

BAD GIRL!

Tonight I heard those words A LOT!!!! BAD GIRL BRINDLE! Well, let me tell you why my Mommy and Momma Too were saying that to me.....

During dinner, I have to go to the den so that I will not beg for food. Well, Mommy heard me doing something in there, but THOUGHT I was playing with my squirrel toy that crinkles. Well, I wasn't playing with Nuts (the squirrel toy) I had found something better! Mommy had a fall open house yesterday and bought some soft peppermints and set them all around the house. There was a candy dish filled with them in the den and they smelled OH SO GOOD!!!!! So I climbed up into the chair and helped myself to the goodness. Well, I helped myself to too many!!! I had eaten 15 peppermints while my family ate dinner. When Mommy and Momma Too walked into the den they saw wrappers and peppermints pieces all over the floor and started telling me how bad I was. Honestly, wouldn't you have done the same thing if you smelled them?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE B!!!!

Yesterday was my Uncle B's birthday. The family got together last night to celebrate. All of my favorites were here at MY HOUSE! Uncle B asked for Fried Chicken (fingers) and Waffles. I didn't get to eat any because Mommy put us (her too) on a diet and we are both trying to be super good, but Mommy didn't know that Gran-Gran gave me a bite of Aunt E's waffle!!! It was so good!!!!! I don't know if the chicken was good, because I don't eat chicken. Chicken is yucky! Uncle B got some money and some Red Neck seasonings from Mommy and me. Mommy found the seasoning at Sam's and couldn't resist buying it for Uncle B. Uncle B turned 55!!!!!! That is super super old in dog years. Uncle B, I hope you had a wonderful birthday and I hope to see you real soon!!!!!! Happy Birthday again!

Mommy got a new computer and she says that has been the delay in getting the Charleston pictures up... I think it's because she didn't make the time to do it. However, my mommy is super super busy, beside taking care of me she goes to school full time and works 2, well 3 if you count Pampered Chef, part time jobs. She is so tired when she gets home every night!

Bow-wow it's been a long time since I've posted...

Since I don't have thumbs it's quite hard for me post; therefore, it's my mommy's fault for not posting the happenings in my life.Shame-Shame on her! She should be very ashamed of herself. Well, let me think.... lots has happened since I last posted. I'm an only "child". It's been OK, but I miss my brother very much. He was my play-mate and my buddy.

Mommy and I moved back to Birmingham. Mommy is attending UAB. She is loving it so far. I spend my days with my Gran-Gran, we have become very close buddies! She is fun to spend the day with. She gives me pretty much anything that I want, but we keep it a big secret from Mommy! Mommy would be mad!

I went on my first vacation this past spring. Mommy, Momma-Too,Gran-Gran, and I went to Charleston, SC. It was a long drive, but so worth it. I did pretty much everything that they did. We toured the Magnolia Plantation, while we were there we rode a tram throughout the grounds. I saw lots of birds and creatures that I would have LOVED to "play with". We toured downtown Charleston by horse. It was a lot of fun to see all the many many people. Momma-Too and Gran-Gran liked looking at all the beautiful, yet expensive houses. Mommy was quite busy keeping me from barking. She told me that my bark would scare the horses. We also ate at lots of great places. Charleston is ranked one of the top pet friendly cities. How awesome is that? Restaurant owners LOVE DOGS there. One place, Parson's Jacks, even had a non-leash patio with a dog house! I didn't like the dog house, but I LOVED THE PATIO! Mommy will have to post some pictures to show everyone how much we had.

Summer has almost gone. I have spent a lot of time at the lake, but there is this mean mean man who got mad at me for barking. HELLO THAT IS HOW I TALK! He thought I was going to hurt him; all I wanted was some loving from him. Since he was all mad, he called the police, and the end result is me on a leash! How much fun is that at the lake... being on a leash. NOT MUCH AT ALL!!! I get to go on walks and down to the water every now and then. It's still a nice getaway place for the family. We love it up there very much!

That's about that's been going on. I'll make sure Mommy updates the blog more often. Maybe I can talk her into updating every weekend!

Merry Christmas and Happy 2010!

Christmas here at home was a little sad without my brother here, but Santa still came to visit me. I got a HUGE bone (it's bigger than me) and a reindeer toy. Mommy named my reindeer Ralph. I love Ralph, I play with him every day! After we opened gifts we had a surprise at the door, it was Uncle B, Aunt E, and Cousin Buster. They came over to celebrate Christmas with us a littler earlier than we expected, but it quite all right! They gave me a new toy too, it was a BIG red Cuz. Mommy named my new Cuz Mt. Cody.
